You might be curious as to why I would dare to put out such a post in the dead of summer, with temperatures on the rise daily, signalling no end to the summer heat in sight.  Its no secret that while I have a love for fashion, I love getting a deal even more and have learnt that shopping in the off seasons, will have you purchasing your favourite items at a fraction of the price. So if you haven’t caught on by now, the best time to shop for fall is now!

Why Shop For Fall Now

While spring is typically much warmer than the dead of winter, it still can be quite cold or cool requiring you to dress appropriately with a sweater, jacket and maybe a pair of boots as well. As expected, retailers will in turn stock their stores with cold to cool weather pieces in warmer colours, symbolic of the warm weather approaching in the near future. By the time April and May roll around, all these warm weather pieces must go; and if you wait until June, the discounts are even that much steeper.

In early July, I grabbed a few sweaters and a blazer that I’ve been eyeing from Zara, at more than 50% off the regular retail, which is literally music to my ears.  In a previous post, I talked about how to Shop and Save and elaborated on the best times to shop your favourite stores, including Zara. This post features one of my favourite sweaters from Zara and Sam Edelman boots from Nordstrom which I purchased for less than 50% off off regular retail. I’m currently eyeing this sweater from Zara which I own in camel for only $12.99, you can shop this sweater here.

While I know its a bit early to start thinking about the fall -I would hate for you to miss out on the best time to shop for fall pieces. Below I have shared some of favourite discounted items for  the fall.  It’s a nice feeling to be already prepared for the upcoming season – I can’t wait to share my styled looks from fall haul. Till next time, happy shopping!

Xoxo,

Kimberly
