Velvet has made a dashing comeback for Fall 2017, and I can wholeheartedly say that I am here for it. It has a plush, luxe and elegant feel to it, which is a perfect addition to your fall, winter and holiday looks.  If you’re more of a classic gal like myself, adding velvet accessories to your Fall look is a safe  way to get in on the season’s hottest new trend, if on the fence about committing to a full velvet outfit.

Velvet Booties

The booties pictured in this post are from Hudson’s Bay (The Bay) and are by their in-house line 424 Fifth. These booties are quite comfortable and the sock-like shaft make it perfect for dresses and skirts of any length; a nice alternative to pumps or heeled sandals during the cooler months. Check out my last post “The Perfect Dresses for Fall,” to see how I rocked these booties with an elegant shirt-dress from HM.  Here are two budget friendly booties from Macy’s by Carlos Santana and also these cute leopard pointy-toe booties by Design Lab from The Bay, all under $100.

Crushed Velvet Clutch

For my less trendy and budget conscious gals a  clutch is the perfect way to get in on the velvet trend, without a huge commitment.  I must admit that a velvet clutch was farthest from my mind when shopping for accessories to go with this look, but the luxe look and feel of this clutch added the special touch this look needed which is to be revealed in the near future, so stay tuned!  These clutches from Le Chateau and Boohoo are perfect gift ideas, all under $50.  The Chelsea clutch pictured down below is now on sale at Nordstrom Rack for only $25.39, a complete steal which you can shop here.
