Cheers to warmer temperatures my friends! While I haven’t completely ditched the warm clothing, I have notably been able to remove at least one layer, which calls for a much needed celebration.  So my friends in Toronto and across the globe, I say cheers to that!  This cozy long sweater vest is by Lou and Grey, a line that can be found at The Loft. While a favourite purchase of mine from my Black Friday shopping at Yorkdale; it is the first sleeveless coat/ sweater vest that I’ve invested in since the trend began and I can assure you that there are absolutely no regrets on my part, a similar one can be found here.  If you’re looking to invest in a key piece to compliment your Spring or Fall wardrobe, I’d say this is it.  It is a classic staple and can easily transform your look from day to night, depending on the style you choose.

My overall look for this post is actually quite basic if you subtract the vest and hat; with the base being a simple white v-neck thong bodysuit (ladies no visible lines with this) from Asos and high waisted jeans from TopShop.  I however enhanced it by adding the cozy grey sweater coat and a navy fedora from Banana Republic which was a major steal at only $13USD at the Palm Beach Outlets during my vacation.  If there is anything you should know about me, it is that I love a good deal, who doesn’t!  Forever 21 has amazing deals right about now on hats in their Sale accessories department, so go ahead and treat yourselves here.  I paired the outfit with colour block booties (old) by Sam Edelman and lengthened the straps of my Rebecca Minkoff ‘Love Bag’ to make it into a cross-body.
